This is Texas Wine podcast, The State Fair of Texas®, WineCub, and Sommly partner to promote The State Fair of Texas’ Blue Ribbon wine
Overview
October 23rd may be the State Fair of Texas® final day of 2022, but sixteen award winning Blue Ribbon wines representing twelve Texas wineries are now available online! For a limited time, you can bring the Texas winery experience directly to your doorstep. Delivery dates are set to align with the winter holidays, so that wine lovers can open a bottle of award-winning Texas wine that pairs perfectly with holiday dinner parties.
Sommly, the direct-to-consumer social marketplace for wine, launched in 2022 to help wine lovers get access to the best wines that are rarely sold in retail stores. The partnership between these twelve wineries and Sommly provides a unique experience for wine lovers. There is no other business that gives consumers the ability to purchase mixed cases of these award winning wines.
Blue Ribbon Wines were awarded by This is Texas Wine podcast founder and wine educator Shelly Wilfong for the 2022 State Fair of Texas beer and wine garden. The curated selection of Blue Ribbon wines was designed to offer variety, quality, and value during the busiest gathering time of the year. Many of these wines are made in small quantities and cannot be found in retail locations.
For ease, Sommly’s sommeliers have curated several cases: Blue Ribbon Mixed Case (12 bottles); Bone Dry Bundle (6 bottles); and Sweet Tidings Bundle (6 bottles). This is a great opportunity to stock up on wine for your cellar, shop for hard-to-gift friends, holiday dinner parties, or corporate gifts.
“It was my pleasure to select the Blue Ribbon wines for the 2022 State Fair of Texas. I’m thrilled that these wines are now available beyond the fairgrounds. Texas wine drinkers will be thrilled with both the quality and variety available on Sommly.”
