Wine Shipping & Fulfillment #
There are multiple options available for shipping wine. If you take a do-it-yourself approach, you must procure permits to sell wine for every state which you’d like to sell to. There is also the added challenge of managing your own inventory and fulfillment. Alternatively, there are fulfillment services that will allow you to sell wine in most states through their permits. These fulfillment services do require you to store your wine in their facilities.
Do-It-Yourself #
- FedEx – The most trusted shipping and logistics carrier for the US market. FedEx also provides delivery to Walgreens locations across the United States, which can be helpful for ensuring that wine stays in a temperature controlled environment on delivery.
- UPS – Offers wine shipping in legally allowed states. UPS has a strong reputation and is a good partner for shipping.
